Hot Water Repairs in Aroona & the Sunshine Coast
Electric hot water systems repaired, replaced and maintained, so you're not stuck showering cold.
What's involved
When the hot water goes cold
On an electric hot water system, most failures are electrical: a heating element that's burnt out, a thermostat that's stopped switching, or a circuit that keeps tripping. They're usually quick to pin down once we're on site.
If it's worth repairing, we'll repair it. If the system has reached the end of its life, we'll tell you straight and talk through replacing it.
FAQ
Hot Water Repairs questions, answered
Why has my hot water gone cold?
On an electric system, the usual causes are a tripped circuit breaker or safety switch, a failed heating element or a faulty thermostat. Check the switchboard first — if it trips again, or the water stays cold, give us a call.
Should I repair or replace my hot water system?
It depends on the age and condition of the tank. A failed element or thermostat is often worth repairing; a tank that's rusting or leaking is usually due for replacement. We'll give you our honest opinion either way.
Do you work on gas hot water systems?
No — we work on electric hot water systems. Gas systems need a licensed gasfitter.
Need a sparky this week?
